Scientific Events
Organised by “BRAINSTORM ORGANIZATION” in cooperation with the University of Medicine, Tirana and the Student Council of the University of Medicine, Tirana. Supported by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Sport.
This conference, the first of its kind, has been held over two editions. A total of 46 scientific papers were presented by distinguished professionals from all the medical sciences, plus 14 papers by students supervised by professors of the University of Medicine and its Faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy and Dentistry, who showed the utmost dedication to every academic and organisational detail.
During the conference, experienced and distinguished professionals gave talks covering all the medical sciences, mainly internal medicine, surgery, pharmacy and dentistry, together with discussion sessions and dedicated poster sections.
The main aim of this Conference is to present the latest scientific research and to advance it. It has also encouraged students towards fuller professional training, rewarded by showcasing their skills.
This event was accredited with 10/30 credits by QKEV (National Centre for Continuing Education).
Special thanks go to the Minister of Education and Sport, Mrs Lindita Nikolla, to the Ministry of Health, to the Rector of UMT, Mr Ali Refatllari, and to the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Mrs Mira Rakacolli; and to the organising committee of professors and students who supported this conference and made it possible, giving it proper scientific and professional integrity.
